(Place, tavern, firm, Yugoslavia)

In 1949 there was a photo club under the general umbrella of Narodna Tehnika (People's Technics). Then in sixties, it seems, it died off, leaving the equipment in club's space. The old man Kiš sat there and sold lottery. In 1971 we revived the club. I invented the name, abbreviated from the place's address. The base founders were Jablan, Lazar and I. Pop and some others came soon, and by the end of the year we started making our first movie.

Well, first serious one; what we had in the first year wasn't much, mere technical trials (though we thought much better of them then). Bukac and his pal had one, and I had one. We then made a big, 30 minutes documentary about the city, practically a monography. Then in 1972, this first big one was completed, and I made two more - and got a bunch of awards for pretty much everything, mostly for my movie about Višnja. Lots of credit for the big one went to me as well, but only about half of it was deserved; I did the camera and editing... well, and sound and was pushing to complete it when the others just gave up. Still, the base idea, story, atmosphere, things to show and things to omit, i.e. the creative foundation was by Pop.

In the following years we kept making fewer and fewer movies, mostly because the first generation gang went to study, but then the photography got really strong, and kept going for many years. By coincidence („game of case“ in serbian) in 1978 the last movie was made and the first federal photo exhibition was organized.

Then in the eighties I completely lost track of it, didn't even know whether there was anybody there. It came back in 2012, when Miško had the guts and endurance to reboot the club. This third incarnation seems to have endured the longest.
